September Freebies

Screen Shot 2015-09-30 at 4.34.41 PM

I’ve been inspired to run this blog for 2 reasons:

  1. I wanted to show people that it is easy to save money. You just need to research deals.
  2. It keeps me accountable.

I’ve learned the ways of couponing, finding GREAT deals and FREE stuff from Hip2save & FreeStuffFinder. You should visit their blog, they are amazing.

This month I started getting into free samples (#heartfreebies). Manufacturers often give away stuff, which they ship to you for FREE and they even add in a bonus – COUPONS! They do this because they want you to try their product, which could potentially lead to you becoming a loyal customer.

I however am not really big on brands. I do love certain products like soap by dove or hair dye by Clairol, but most of the time I just rely on sales to get the best deals.

Freebies Tuesday: Get your free cup of coffee!

YES! #NationalCoffeeDay is in full effect, today only on September 29th, 2015 in the U.S.

I love freebies, especially COFFEE!

Here are some participating stores that are offering FREE coffee:

  • Dunkin’ Donuts
  • WaWa
  • Whole Foods’

KRISPY KREME!

YOU BET that I will be there! I drink so much coffee in a day (I know it’s bad), but it keeps me going during the day. A plus is the glazed doughnut, MY FAVE!.

Enjoy

Net Worth: September 2015

Note: I post my personal finance online, not to brag, but to keep myself accountable and to show my progress to financial freedom. I keep my identity hidden for security reasons.

– This is in Canadian dollars. Since I don’t have a SSN yet, I can’t open a U.S. brokerage account.

I am 25, no student loans, no debt. I came to the U.S. with about 33,000$. We had immigration, wedding and living expenses, which explains why my net worth decreased in the past 6 months.
